Shantilal Real Estate Services was founded by Late Shri Shantilal Tulsidas Cholera in the 1980s in a port town of Goa-Vasco-da-Gama. Back then, the concept of owning Real Estate was seldom practiced and mostly the home seekers resided in rented homes. With his ‘never say die’ and ‘the show must go on’ attitude, he persuaded people to consider owning homes and facilitated the entire home buying process.

Our founder was amongst the pioneers who professionalized Real Estate marketing and foresaw a great potential in the industry. Since the 1980s to early 2011, we assisted almost all the recognized and reputed developers of Goa and also ones with a National presence to market their projects to the end users, investors and NRIs. Sole selling rights of projects was another concept which our founder introduced in the Goan Real Estate market and he has multiple ‘record sales’ to his credit.
The Generation two, comprising of Mr. Hemant Cholera and Mr. Ashwin Cholera drove the firm into a fast paced, steady, progressive and growth oriented firm without compromising on the ethics and principles coined by our founder.
In 2011, we identified the gap and lapse in the market and turned in full throttle to undertake backward integration. Identifying and understanding the home seekers requirements and their sentiments, we launched our first project and since then our story continues….
Today, our family business is managed by the Generation Two and Generation Three with a perfect blend of lineage, experience and fresh ideas.

LATE SHRI. SHANTILAL CHOLERA
A first generation entrepreneur, founded the company in 1980 with a modest amount of capital and a table at a popular Goan cafe and then a small rented property as his workplaces. Within four summers and a few months following that phase, the company had already established itself as a reputed and reliable real estate firm in Goa. It now stood tall, with its head held high, at its first and present office at Vasco Da Gama, laying the foundation of the formidable name it has become today. A man of exemplary vision, his values, business acumen, leadership abilities, and his firm belief in ethical business practices, were and will always be our guiding light.
MR. HEMANT CHOLERA
An out and out sales driven person, he learnt the ropes of business under the guidance of his father and the founder of our company, Mr. Shantilal Cholera. For us, he is the definition of sincerity, simplicity and hardwork. After successfully managing the entire sales operations of the company for over 3 decades (and counting), he is now our ‘Sales Mentor’. Mr Hemant Cholera carries around 30 years of experience in the Real Estate industry.
MR. ASHWIN CHOLERA
Younger of the two brothers of this generation of the family, he started his career at a very early age, and therefore has years of hands-on experience in Goa’s real estate market. ‘Ambitious’ is his middle name. His ‘never say die’ attitude has been a tremendous source of motivation for the entire team. The one with a future focused attitude, he is now our ‘Growth Mentor’. Mr Ashwin Cholera carries around 30 years of experience in the Real Estate industry.
MR. DEEPAK CHOLERA
An MBA in Family Business Management from NMIMS, he joined the business when the company was undergoing the transition phase of becoming a real estate construction and marketing company from over 3 decades old real estate consultancy firm. Pratham Apartments, the company’s first construction project, was his brainchild. Ever since the day the foundation stone of this project was laid, there has been no looking back for the company. A go-getter by nature, Deepak has inculcated a culture of excellence and innovation within the company. Mr Deepak Cholera carries around 11years of experience in the Real Estate industry.
MR. DIPESH CHOLERA
With an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Family Business from the 2013 batch of NMIMS, he is a promising and strong-willed addition to the list. His ambitiousness is contagious and his fresh, futuristic, and out-of-the-box ideas, and result oriented focus have done a great deal of value addition to the company. Mr Dipesh Cholera carries around 8 years of experience in the Real Estate industry.
MR. RAJ CHOLERA
Another new and young face of the company, completed his MBA in Entrepreneurship & Family Business and has been an addition to our dynamic team. Finance runs in his blood. Market study and analysis are his core competencies along with strong sales skills. Mr Raj Cholera carries around 7 years of experience in the Real Estate industry.
